Altec Industries, Inc. has plans to create 105 new jobs in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH—Altec Industries, Inc. recently announced that they plan to add 105 new jobs in the St. Joseph area over the next three years by investing in personal and real property improvements as well as manufacturing and non-manufacturing machinery and equipment.

Altec Industries is a provider of products and services to the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, lights and signs, and contractor markets.

“These are exciting times as we invest back into the community,” the company stated in a press release.

“Our goal is to be good stewards in all communities in which we live and work. It is this type of cooperation that allows us to keep growing our facility in St. Joseph,” said Colby Edwards, director of manufacturing, in a quote from NewsPressNow.com.

The City of St. Joseph and Missouri Department of Economic Development assisted with Altec Industries, Inc.'s expansion efforts.
