EPC opens new facility, announces plans for new jobs


A St. Charles data destruction company packed up and moved into a new 104,000-square-foot facility in Wright City this week.

According to the St. Louis Business Journal, EPC, a subsidiary of CSI Leasing, opened their new $5 million electronics recycling facility Monday. Company officials said in a release Monday the facility will increase sales by 20 percent and add 20 new jobs at the plant over the next 12 months.

EPC’s holding company CSI is one of St. Louis’ largest privately held companies, generating $442 million annually. CSI is an equipment leasing firm that specializes in large companies with complex technology requirements and systems. In addition to the technology segment, CSI services the health care and entertainment industries.

With more than 10,000 firms in the information technology industry state wide, Missouri’s information technology industry ranks in the top ten fastest-growing states for tech jobs.
