Incubator welcomes inaugural class
The Saint Louis Fashion
Incubator (SLFI), a new project spearheaded by the Saint Louis Fashion Fund and
led by Executive Director Eric Johnson, has selected
its inaugural class of designers.
Chosen by a panel of top industry professionals, the six selected designers
are:
► Donald
Charles Smith Brame II (Smith II), Dallas, TX
► Agnes
Hamerlik (Hamerlik), Chicago, IL
► Emily
Koplar (Wai Ming), St. Louis, MO
► Allison
Mitchell (Allison Mitchell), Dallas, TX
► Audra
Noyes (AUDRA), New York, NY and Wilmington, DE
► Reuben Reuel Riddick (Demestik by Reuben Reuel), Brooklyn, NY
 SLFI’s two-year residency
program kicks off January 2, 2017 and will provide the six emerging designers with free work/studio space, financial support,
best-in-class business curriculum, mentorship from a local and national
advisory council, access to small-run sampling and manufacturing, and top-line
sales opportunities in major markets. In addition, designers will receive
business support from Washington University’s Olin Business School as well as
access to key industry partnerships and collaborative opportunities.

Assistant Program (NAP) tax credits, issued by the Missouri Department of
