Masterclock receives
Presidential Award for Export Excellence
During a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on Monday, U.S.
Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker presented
St. Charles-based manufacturing firm Masterclock, Inc. with the President’s
“E” Award for Exports. The award is the highest recognition any U.S. entity can
receive for making a significant contribution to the expansion of U.S. exports.
Masterclock
manufactures a variety of equipment designed to keep both facilities and people
synchronized, with applications ranging from ensuring television studios make
smooth programming transitions to providing precise counts for spacecraft
launch operations. Some of the company’s top-tier customers include SpaceX,
Formula One, Microsoft, Facebook, General Electric, Siemens and Exxon Mobile.
Masterclock was also recognized by Gov. Jay Nixon as the
