Kansas City was recently rated the 10th best place to live if you're young and looking to 'get rich.' Kansas City has a median rent of $851 with a cost of living 15% below the national average. Median income for college graduates is $50,853, with a unemployment rate of 2.4%.

Missouri is One of The Best States to Raise A Family
Missouri has been rated the 8th best place to raise a family, according to The Huffington Post. The website credits Missouri with the 7th lowest housing costs in the nation, with Missourians paying less than the national median for child care. The Huffington Post also recognizes Governor Jay Nixon's investment in Missouri's early education program, START SMART.
