This week, we reached a new milestone: more than 350,000 Minnesotans have enrolled in quality, affordable health insurance coverage through
MNsure.
To date, MNsure has enrolled 55,289 Minnesotans in a
Qualified Health Plan, 76,275 in MinnesotaCare and 219,217 in Medical
Assistance.

Rachelle
is a certified MNsure navigator at Sawtooth Mountain Clinic in Grand Marais.
She enjoys helping those in her local community find the health insurance
coverage that meets their needs.
Once Rachelle explains all the benefits and cost savings
options available through MNsure, she says many are pleasantly surprised.
"I have seen many people leave my office with tears of
joy and hugging me and saying now they can afford to get help to fill that
prescription drug that once cost so much, to go see their doctor to fix a
problem that has been ailing them."

On Monday, we launched a dedicated service line for
MNsure-certified agents and brokers. This toll-free help line supplements the
online and email resources already in place, including the Broker One Stop on
the MNsure website.
“MNsure’s certified brokers and agents make it possible for
thousands of Minnesotans to secure comprehensive, affordable coverage,” said CEO
Scott Leitz. “We know that having in-person help from an expert is imperative,
and we want to support and empower our broker and agent partners to the very
best of our ability.”
Applicants are being sought to fill
open seats on the Health Industry Advisory Committee and the Consumer and Small
Employer Advisory Committee.
The Advisory Committees provide guidance, advice and
recommendations to the Board as it carries out its mission.
Minnesotans interested in serving on these committees must submit a résumé
and a completed application
by 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 23.
