More than 107,000 Minnesotans have enrolled in quality, affordable health insurance through MNsure. Enrollments have increased 54 percent since December 31. This milestone highlights the progress we have made to significantly improve performance and the services we provide to consumers.
Over the past eight weeks, website errors have declined to approximately five percent, and Contact Center wait times are down considerably, to an average of three minutes.

We have streamlined our online payment options. Consumers will no longer be sent an invoice issued by MNsure for the first month’s premium. You can now choose to pay it in one of two ways: online at www.mnsure.org or be invoiced by the health insurance company.
For coverage that starts April 1, you must select a plan and pay the first month’s premium by March 15. For coverage that starts May 1, you must select a plan and pay the premium by March 31.

During the last month of open enrollment for Qualified Health Plans, we are working to make sure there are in-person enrollment opportunities across the state. Local community partners will be offering support in many areas of the state for those who want to enroll before the end of March. Check your local news and social media for enrollment opportunities in your area.
One hundred new customer service representatives joined the Contact Center this month. The surge is coming at an important time, as Minnesotans seeking health insurance through MNsure have until March 31 to sign up for Qualified Health Plans.
The Contact Center can be reached at 1-855-3-MNSURE (1-855-366-7873). Representatives are available 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Saturday.
