new sign language video

Our new “What is MNsure” video was created in American Sign Language with English captions and voiceover to provide some answers to common questions about MNsure. It was designed for people who are deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing as well as other people who are interested in understanding how MNsure can benefit them.

When will my insurance card arrive? What are some upcoming deadlines? How can I verify my coverage? If these are questions you have, you are not alone. The answers to these and other frequently asked questions from consumers are on our website.

Did you pay by January 10 for January coverage, but haven’t received your insurance card? You can review the Minnesota Council of Health Plans’ “MNsure Coverage Scenarios for January 2014.”

Wondering what your MNsure plan will cover? Want information about coat sharing and limits on out of pocket expenses? The Minnesota Department of Human Services outlines Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare coverage, while healthcare.gov provides information on essential health benefits for all other plans.

small employer enrollment info

For coverage effective February 1, open enrollment for employees goes until January 12. (Employer sign-up is now closed.)

For coverage effective March 1, employer sign-up must be completed by January 27 and open enrollment for employees is January 26 – February 9.

For coverage effective April 1, employer sign-up must be completed by February 24 and open enrollment for employees  is February 26 – March 12.

contact center hours changing

The Contact Center toll-free number is 1-855-3-MNsure (1-855-366-7873). As of Friday, January 17, the hours of operation are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Saturday.

Assistance is available in English, Spanish, Hmong and Somali, and representatives can connect callers who need help in other languages to an interpreter service offering more than 140 languages.

You can find help in your community using our online assister directory. Hundreds of assisters (navigators and brokers) are certified to serve individuals throughout Minnesota, and more are being added every week.

The online directory is sortable, and you can filter the information to display only the assisters in your area.

The account and application functions are available 6:00 AM – midnight every day until further notice. The public information pages are up 24-hours, 7-days a week.
