MNsure public awareness campaign

What is MNsure? How will it help me? When can I sign up?

Are these questions you find yourself asking? If so, help is on the way. We are weeks away from unveiling a statewide marketing and outreach campaign aimed at increasing awareness about the MNsure marketplace. The campaign will showcase advertising on television, radio, print, public signage and digital mediums throughout the state. Audience-specific media, such as community radio and multilingual newspapers, is a strong component of the plan as well. The public awareness mass media campaign will launch in late August.

Grassroots outreach is a key element of the public awareness campaign. We have and will continue to visit local communities to speak about MNsure, and attend community events across the state. To deliver our message straight to Minnesota neighborhoods, we are hiring local community members to act as MNsure Ambassadors to address concerns and explain MNsure in a way that is easy to understand. These ambassadors will work in collaboration with MNsure’s Consumer Assister Network of Navigators, In-Person Assisters and agents/brokers, who will be announced in August.

Stop by the MNsure booth at the Freeborn County Fair on Saturday, August 3, in Albert Lea. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

call for advisory committee members

The MNsure Board is establishing two Advisory Committees to provide guidance, advice and recommendations to the Board as it carries out its mission.

Applicants are being sought for the Health Industry Advisory Committee and the Consumer and Small Employer Advisory Committee. More information and the application form are posted here.

Applications are due by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2013.

comments sought on proposed rules

MNsure is soliciting comments on rules on the policies and procedures available for appealing eligibility determinations made by MNsure.

All comments on these proposed rules must be received no later than 11:59 p.m CDT on Monday, August 12, 2013. The full text of the proposed rules and the request for comments announcement are available on MNsure’s website.
