Thank You!

Thank you to the more than 151,000 Minnesotans who’ve already signed up for 2025 health plans through MNsure — a new early sign-up record!

Between November 1 and the first deadline (December 18), 151,098 Minnesotans used MNsure.org to sign up for qualified health plans. This represents a 14% increase in private health plan sign-ups compared to the same time last year.

MNsure Advocates for Affordability

MNsure CEO Libby Caulum speaking at the Protect Our Care media event

Last month, U.S. Rep. Angie Craig (MN-02) and Protect Our Care Minnesota held a media event about health insurance affordability. MNsure CEO Libby Caulum joined to discuss the potential impacts if the enhanced federal premium tax credits expire at the end of 2025. Vicky Selin, a MNsure consumer, also shared her personal story.

You can watch the event on Facebook.

Your First Step to Health in 2025

Too many Americans don’t have a doctor they regularly see and trust, even though it’s crucial for their health. If you have health insurance, use your coverage and find a primary care provider. They can:

  • help manage and prevent chronic disease
  • identify risks for serious illnesses
  • be your go-to person if you get sick or hurt
  • talk through any medical questions or concerns you may have

Here are some things to consider when looking for a primary care provider:

  1. Are they in-network for your health insurance plan? Seeing an in-network provider helps keep your costs low.
  2. Is their office in a location that’s easy for you to get to?
  3. Are they accepting new patients?

Read more about using your coverage on our website.

If you have questions about your coverage, call your insurance company to get help.
