Enroll Now

Open enrollment is here! MNsure’s open enrollment period is the annual opportunity for Minnesotans who need health insurance to shop, compare options and sign up for private medical and dental coverage — without needing a qualifying life event.

All Minnesotans can continue to find a health plan through MNsure with premiums that cost no more than 8.5% of their annual household income, thanks to federal laws that capped the cost of premiums through 2025.

Sign up by December 18, 2024, for coverage that starts January 1.

New for 2025: Easy Compare Plans

Make apples-to-apples comparisons with Easy Compare plans! Get started at MNsure.org

With over 250 plans available for next year, you may be feeling overwhelmed or not know where to start. Enter: Easy Compare plans, a new option for Minnesotans that make buying health insurance simpler. Get an apples-to-apples comparison between different insurance companies and focus on what’s important to you — like providers, premiums or prescription drugs.

To find these plans when shopping on MNsure.org, filter your search results by selecting “Easy Compare Plan” under plan features or check the plan name for the words “Easy Compare.”

Consumer Alert: Avoiding Scams

This open enrollment, be on the lookout for online scams targeting Minnesotans who need health insurance. Be cautious about the websites you use when shopping for coverage and follow these tips:

  • Check the website URL. Type MNsure.org into your address bar to get started, and make sure you're clicking on mnsure.org links when using a search engine.
  • Be sure you’re buying comprehensive coverage. All plans sold through MNsure include essential health benefits and important consumer protections — anything less may leave you in a lurch. Plans available outside of MNsure may not include the same benefits and protection.
  • Watch out for unsolicited calls, especially those that require immediate payment. MNsure will never call and ask for a Social Security number, credit card or bank account number. MNsure-certified brokers and navigators help Minnesotans apply and enroll in health coverage, but they provide this help for free.

To report suspected fraud, submit a complaint online or call MNsure's anonymous complaints line.
