Life can change quickly. Make sure you report any changes to your income, household, or address to MNsure within 30 days of the changes to make sure you receive the right financial help and eligibility.
Why do I need to update my account?
- You could qualify for more or less financial help
- You could qualify to switch plans
- Your plan might not be available if you have moved to a different area
- Your notices and forms might be sent to the wrong address if you don’t report an address change

MNsure’s board of directors is looking for engaged applicants to fill open seats on the board’s advisory committee. Consumers and experts in fields of health care and health insurance are encouraged to apply to bring their knowledge and experience to the process.
Minnesotans interested in serving must submit a résumé and a completed application by 5 p.m. Central time on Sunday, July 21.
Health plans available through MNsure.org can’t deny you coverage or charge you more because of your gender or a preexisting condition like asthma, diabetes or cancer. Other plans may not include the same protection & benefits.
MNsure plans also protect you against the cost of many types of “surprise” medical bills, including for emergency care. You can have peace of mind knowing you're covered, no matter what life throws at you.

When you experience big life events like getting married, having a baby or moving, you may be eligible for a special enrollment period to enroll in 2024 medical and dental insurance.

Remember: If you qualify for Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare, or are a member of a federally recognized tribe, you can enroll through MNsure at any time of the year.
