Our tenth open enrollment period is now underway and we’re off to a strong start, having helped hundreds of Minnesotans find coverage in just the first few days.
If you need health insurance that you can count on and that fits your budget, MNsure has you covered. And if you’ve thought MNsure didn’t have anything to offer your family because you didn’t qualify for tax credits before, now’s the time to take another look.
The Inflation Reduction Act kept larger premium tax credits in place and ensured more middle-income Minnesotans will continue to qualify for these savings in 2023. We estimate that eligible Minnesotans will save $560/month on average.
Starting in 2023, if you have health insurance through your job but it’s not affordable for your family members, your family may be eligible for tax credits through MNsure.
Even if your health plan was renewed for 2023, I encourage you to check your options, as plan networks and prices can change year to year. You might find a better deal that fits your needs.
Remember, for coverage that starts January 1, you need to enroll by December 15 -- so don’t wait to take action.
Visit MNsure.org today to look at your coverage options and see what you could save.
Nate Clark, MNsure CEO
As you look at your health insurance options during open enrollment, one thing to keep in mind is that all plans available through MNsure provide comprehensive coverage.
The plans include essential health benefits like preventive care and screenings, maternity and newborn care, and prescriptions. They also cover pre-existing conditions and provide other consumer protections.
When you enroll, review the summary of benefits and coverage to get a good overview of what your plan covers. If you have questions about the coverage, call your insurance company to get help.
