Coverage will start Wednesday, April 1. (If you enroll after April 1 and by 11:59 p.m. on April 21, your coverage will have a retroactive start date of April 1.)

Can I qualify for this special enrollment period even if I’m not sick?
Yes. All eligible, uninsured Minnesotans may qualify for this emergency special enrollment period.
What do I need to apply?
Have these items ready when you apply.
If you are a currently enrolled customer, you cannot use this special enrollment period to change plans. To change plans, you must have a qualifying life event.
If you lost or are losing health insurance through your employer, you may also be eligible for a special enrollment period through MNsure. More details are on our website.
Reminder: if you qualify for Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare (programs for Minnesotans with low income), or are a member of a federally recognized American Indian tribe, you can enroll through MNsure at any time of the year.
