2019 individual private plan rates released today

Rates for 2019 individual market health insurance plan were released by the Department of Commerce today, and are going down across the state.

Rates are lower but you can still save money if you qualify for financial help through MNsure. For example, an individual earning up to $48,560 a year, or a family of four earning up to $100,400 a year, could qualify for tax credits. Check the 2019 income guidelines. Examples of how MNsure can save consumers money can be found here. Starting October 15, you can "window shop" and compare 2019 plans on MNsure.org to check for savings. Open enrollment runs November 1, 2018, to January 13, 2019.

If you qualify for or are already enrolled in Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare, you can disregard this message.
