October 4, 2018
Final 2019 individual market health insurance rates were
released on Tuesday by the Minnesota Department of Commerce. Those rates are going
down on average between 7 and 27% across the state.
You can also save money if you qualify for financial help
through MNsure. For example, an
individual earning up to $48,560 a year, or a family of four earning up to
$100,400 a year, could qualify for tax credits. Check
the 2019 income guidelines.
Starting October 15,
you can "window shop" and compare 2019 plans on MNsure.org to
check for savings.

MNsure is hosting the
second annual round of assemblies across the state to provide assisters (navigators,
brokers and certified application counselors) with in-person training and an
opportunity to develop connections with other assisters in their area.
This is one of the many ways we ensure our
community-based partners have all the information they need for the upcoming
open enrollment period to provide people in their communities with free expert
enrollment help.
