African-American Men Gathering in Support of Young Children
Thursday, January 10, 2013, 7:00–9:00pm
Wilder Foundation Auditorium, 451 Lexington Parkway (at University), St. Paul
Free parking in the ramp next door. Snacks will be provided.
Help Build a Coalition: In November a group of 50 African-American men gathered at the Science Museum of Minnesota to talk about our important role in the lives of children age birth–5.
It was a powerful conversation. We shared the stories of the personal, social and historical experiences that have shaped our lives as African-American men. We heard how passionate men are about nurturing the young children in their lives and learned how we can support each other.
