Effective communication skills are crucial for this role for articulating visions, strategies, and feedback to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Program Managers must also be adept at project management, ensuring that programs are implemented efficiently and align with the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for social impact, and experience in program management within the nonprofit sector.

Position Summary: Program Coordinators are responsible for coordinating and overseeing all ACES program operations. They ensure the effective implementation of high-quality ACES programming, including supervising up to 5 part-time Academic Coaches. ACES’s model operates in classroom settings of 10-15 students, before- or after-school for up to five days per week. Program Coordinators are ACES model experts and are expected to step into classrooms, whether teaching a class or providing instructional or behavioral support. They model the ACES culture at their site and lead daily staff meetings as they supervise and provide feedback to Academic Coaches. As supervisors, they become their Academic Coaches’ biggest advocates for growth and coach their supervisees toward ongoing programmatic and personal success.
