Youth Round Table with Mayor Carter Wednesday, June 24, 2020 4:00 – 6:00 pm
Mayor Carter and the Saint Paul Youth Commission are hosting a digital round table with Saint Paul young people for a conversation that centers the youth experience around the tragic death of George Floyd and the community response in Saint Paul.
The round table will be a platform for young people to share their experiences, ask questions of the Mayor and other city leaders, and share their hopes for their city.
Please join us and share this opportunity with young people to come together across the city for this very important conversation.
In order to submit questions for the round table we are encouraging young people to submit questions between now and Wednesday evening via Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter using #AskMayorCarter. Members of the Saint Paul Youth Commission will review the questions presented online, look for themes and select questions for Mayor Carter to respond to.
This event is being held in collaboration with Saint Paul Parks and Recreation, Saint Paul Public Libraries, Saint Paul Public Schools, and Sprockets.
For ADA accommodations requests please contact moua.xiong@ci.stpaul.mn.us, at least two days before the event.
