Apply for a teen job with the Kitty Andersen Youth Science Center!

Youth in grades 9-12 who are interested in joining a high school crew at the Kitty Andersen Youth Science Center at the Science Museum of Minnesota (in Saint Paul), should read below for a great opportunity!

The Kitty Andersen Youth Science Center is currently recruiting for 12 paid high school positions on our LinCT crew (an all-female crew learning about technology and teaching), Health crew (a crew learning about the healthcare industry and health equity), Bits 2 Bites crew (a crew learning about app development and entrepreneurship) and Climate Change (a crew learning about app development, community engagement and the environment) crew. These are jobs for which you make a long-term, year-round commitment, so please check the times you are available to ensure that you can participate. During the school year, you participate for 6 hours per week, and over the summer, you will participate for 12 hours per week at specified hours for each crew.

You must be available at the times that the crew meets in order to be eligible to get on a crew. To learn more, please fill out the Interest Form by Friday, August 12: http://tinyurl.com/KAYSC-InterestForm16.

Timeline for Hiring process: The crew manager for each crew will send you more information and a job application link to complete by August 17 once you have completed the Interest Form. If you are selected, you will need to attend:

The Group Interview on Monday, August 22 from 1-4:00 pm
If you are offered a spot on the crew, you will need to complete hiring paperwork by Wednesday, September 14 (and to drop it off at the Science Museum between 4:30-6:30 pm)
You will also need to attend Orientation from 9am-12pm on Saturday, September 17 with your parent/guardian.
