Male arrived at ER with a gunshot wound
On October 30, 2026 at approximately 10:30 PM, St. Louis County deputies learned that a 20 year-old, Hibbing male arrived at the Fairview Range Hospital, emergency room with a single gunshot wound to the head.
Deputies learned that serval individuals, including the victim, were attending a bonfire at the Scott Lake boat landing located south of Buhl.
Deputies learned that friends of the victim heard a pop near his vehicle and located the victim laying near it. The victim was transported to the hospital by his friends and later airlifted to a Duluth area hospital in what is believed to be serious condition.
No foul play is suspected and the incident remains under investigation by the St Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
