Two Vehicle Accident in Gnesen Township

On October 8^th, 2026, at 2:29PM the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, the St. Louis County Rescue Squad, Gnesen Fire Department and Mayo ambulance responded to a two-vehicle crash between a passenger car and a semi-truck near the intersection of Normanna Road and Howard Gnesen Road.

The adult male driver of the semi-truck was uninjured. The adult female driver of the passenger car was transported by Mayo ambulance to be evaluated for unknown but presumed minor injuries. It appears the semi-truck was stationary at the stop sign when it was struck from behind by the passenger car.

There were no additional occupants in either vehicle and no additional injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

The exact cause of the accident is unknown and remains under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
