PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
St. Louis County Board of Commissioners
Notice is hereby given that the St. Louis County Board of Commissioners will conduct public meetings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2026, at the St. Louis County Courthouse, 100 N. 5th Ave. W., Room 200, Duluth, MN, and at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, in the Hibbing City Hall, 401 E. 21st St. Hibbing, MN, to gather public comment on the proposed property tax levy and operating budget for year 2027.

Staff from the Assessor’s Department and Auditor's Office will be available to meet one-on-one with anyone who has questions or concerns specific to their proposed property tax statement. People are reminded they can contact the Assessor’s Department at any time with questions about their property’s classification and valuation by calling 1 (218) 726-2304, or email assrdept@stlouiscountymn.gov. Meanwhile, questions about property tax statements can be directed to the Auditor's Office by calling (218) 726-2383, or email PropertyTax@stlouiscountymn.gov.
Citizens are also welcome to provide input at any County Board meeting, or by submitting comments to publiccomment@stlouiscountymn.gov. Comments received by noon on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, will be shared with Commissioners prior to the meetings.

The Board is scheduled to vote on the final levy and budget at the December 15, 2026, County Board meeting.
