Fredenberg Township Crash
On October 5th, 2026 at 2051 hours, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, along with the Fredenberg Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance and St. Louis County Rescue Squad were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover in the 4800 block of West Pioneer Road in Fredenberg Township.
A vehicle driven by a 33-year-old man from Fredenberg Township was located laying in the middle of the road. He had been ejected from his vehicle during the crash. It was determined he was not wearing his seatbelt, and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. He was transported to St. Luke's in Duluth for serious injuries.
It appeared the vehicle left the roadway, stuck a large rock and rolled before coming to a rest in the north ditch. The vehicle had extensive damage.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
