3 Vehicle Crash in Lakewood Township
On August 31st, 2026 at approximately 6:00pm, emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Lester River Road and Acquire Lane in Lakewood Township for a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. After investigation, it was determined the driver of a passenger car rear-ended a motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to then strike a third vehicle.
The rider of the motorcycle was transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the striking vehicle was issued a citation as the result of this investigation.
Responding agencies included the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, Lakewood Volunteer Fire Department, Mayo Clinic Ambulance, and the St. Louis County Rescue Squad.
