Three vehicle accident in Rice Lake
On 08/26/26 at approximately 0754 Hrs., Deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to the area of Martin Rd and Stavanger Rd. in Rice Lake for a three-vehicle accident. One vehicle was rear ended, which forced them into the oncoming lane and they then incurred a head-on crash with a third vehicle. One driver was taken by Mayo ambulance to the hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries. The occupants of the other involved vehicles were mostly uninjured. All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Assisting agencies include the Rice Lake Fire Dept., Mayo Ambulance and the Sheriff's Office Rescue Squad.
