Vehicle vs. off-road motorcycle accident with injuries
On August 20th, 2026, at approximately 7:45 P.M., the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and area first responders were notified of an accident with injures on Hill Road in Wuori Township. The caller reported an accident where a pickup struck an off-road motorcycle that was occupied by two juveniles.
Resources arrived on scene and treated the parties involved. One juvenile was transported for a broken leg and the other was transported for minor injuries. The juveniles were traveling down their driveway towards Hill Road and attempted to apply the brakes which failed. The juveniles went onto the roadway and were struck by an oncoming pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck was not able to stop in time due to thick foliage. Alcohol was not a factor.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office was assisted by area Pike Sandy first responders, Pike Sandy fire department, and Virginia Ambulance service.
