NOTICE OF 2026 STATE PRIMARY ELECTION ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Notice is hereby given to the voters of St. Louis County, Minnesota, that a State Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in all election precincts within all cities, towns and unorganized areas of St. Louis County. Polling place hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the exception of townships having a population of less than five hundred residents that have adopted a resolution establishing a later poll opening but in all cases, polls will open no later than 10:00 a.m.
Unorganized areas NOT voting by MAIL BALLOT will vote at the following polling locations:
- Unorganized 14 (T57-R16) - Lakeland Baptist Church, 4441 Lost Lake Road, Gilbert, MN
- Unorganized 15 (T60-R18) - Sand Lake Chapel, 9038 Biss Rd, Britt, MN
- Unorganized 16 (T60-R19) - Sand Lake Chapel, 9038 Biss Rd, Britt, MN
- Unorganized 17 (T56-R16) - Makinen Community Center, 6601 Wilson Rd, Makinen, MN
- Unorganized 18 (T59-R16) - Pike Town Hall, 6862 Hwy 68, Embarrass, MN
Mail Ballot precincts have the option of voting in-person at the following polling locations:
- Virginia Government Services Center, Auditor’s Office, 201 S. 3rd W., Virginia, MN
- Courthouse, Room 214, 100 N. 5th W., Duluth, MN
