NOTICE OF SPECIAL COUNTY BOARD MEETING
St. Louis County Board of Commissioners
Notice is hereby given that the St. Louis County Board of Commissioners will conduct a Special County Board Meeting beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in the Duluth Courthouse, County Board Room, 100 N. 5th Ave. W., Duluth, MN
The agenda will consist of the following items:
- Presentation from St. Louis County Sheriff Gordon Ramsay regarding the wildfires.
- Approval of the Consent Agenda:
• Minutes of July 14, 2026 Board meeting.
• Request to Accept Additional Family Homeless Prevention Assistance Program Grant Award and Enter into Contracts.
• Joint Powers Agreement with Department of Human Services for Cost-Neutral Transfer Allocation and to Contract with Community Partners.
• Engineering Services Agreement with Alliant Engineering, Inc. for Design Engineering Services for the CSAH 91 (40th Avenue West) Reconstruction Project; CP 0091-956126, SAP 069-691-036.
• Engineering Services Agreement with Alliant Engineering, Inc. for the US 53 at CSAH 131 (Old Sand Lake Road)/County Road 306 (Reid Road) J-Turn Project; CP 0131- 950396, SAP 069-731-004.
• Execute a Limited Use Permit (6908-0086) with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for Construction, Maintenance, and Operation of a Park and Ride Facility for the Twig Area ATV Club and a Cooperative Agreement with the Twig Area ATV Club; CP 0000-1010155.
• Claims and Accounts for June 2026.
- Application to temporarily expand the sale/service area of the County On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License by Frygard, LLC dba Timbers Edge Grill & Bar, Unorganized Township 56-17, for the dates of July 28, 2026, and August 1, 2026.
