Motorcycle versus Deer Meadowlands Township
On June 27th at 1906 hours, local emergency responders responded to a report of a motorcycle versus and deer in Meadowlands Township at Hwy 7 and Hwy 133. A 39-year-old Sturgeon Lake man was driving southbound on Hwy 7 with a 36-year-old female from North Branch as his passenger. While driving southbound, a deer entered the roadway and was struck by the motorcycle. Both the rider and passenger received non-life threatening injuries but were both transported via ambulance the Essentia Health Duluth for their injuries.
