Hart Pleads Guilty
Court file #69DU-CR-25-3143
Today, before the Honorable Nicole L. Hopps, Michael Todd Hart, 41, pleaded guilty to Felony Escape From Custody, announced St. Louis County Attorney Kim Maki. Mr. Hart’s guilty plea was for escaping from the Northeast Regional Corrections Center in the fall of 2025.
The St. Louis County Attorney’s Office credits the successful prosecution of this case to the thorough investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
Sentencing is scheduled for August 17, 2026, at 10:15 A.M. Previously, Mr. Hart was remanded to the Commissioner of Corrections to serve his sentence on files 69HI-CR-25-433 and 69HI-CR-26-108 and will be appearing remotely from his prison facility sentencing.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant St. Louis County Attorney Vicky Wanta.
