Jerrid Eugene Ahlstrand Sentenced
Court file #69VI-CR-25-645
Today in St. Louis County District Court in Virginia, the Honorable Michelle M. Anderson sentenced Jerrid Eugene Ahlstrand, 53, to 108 months in prison for Criminal Sexual Conduct in the 2nd Degree – Victim Under 16/Significant Relationship/Multiple Acts over Extended Period of Time, announced County Attorney Kim Maki. The offense was committed against a minor female between September 2018 and September 2024 in the East Range area of St. Louis County. This sentence is the maximum sentence Mr. Ahlstrand was eligible to receive under the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines for this offense.
“While no sentence can undo the trauma experienced by the victim, today’s outcome ensures that the defendant is being held accountable for the crime he committed,” said St. Louis County Attorney Maki. “We commend the victim for her courage and strength throughout the criminal justice process.”
The St. Louis County Attorney’s Office recognizes the extraordinary courage of the survivor in reporting this crime and is grateful to the survivor’s family and friends for supporting her. The St. Louis County Attorney’s Office thanks the East Range Police Department for their investigation and assistance in prosecuting this case.
The primary investigating officer in this case was Sergeant Cody Siebert who unexpectedly passed away on February 27, 2026. The professionalism and compassion that he displayed during his investigation was a major contributing factor in the successful prosecution of Ahlstrand.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant County Attorney Aaron P. Welch.
