3-Wheel motorcycle accident with injuries
On 5/15/2026, at about 7:39 PM, deputies responded to the intersection of Comstock Lake Rd. and Mink Rd in Cotton on a report of a three-wheeled motorcycle that had crashed. The driver, a 52-year-old male from Cotton was found on the ground with a head injury. He was conscious and talking but showing memory problems. Air medical was initially called but later canceled. The patient was ultimately transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The motorcycle was a Spyder roadster. According to a witness, the driver was westbound on Comstock Lake Rd. When he crossed the railroad tracks near Mink Rd., he lost control, went into the ditch, rolled over and then landed back in the roadway. Deputies did not observe any signs of impairment from the driver.
The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Cotton Volunteer Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance and the St. Louis County Rescue Squad.
