Warrant Arrest Duluth
On May 7th, 2026 at 1712 hours, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office completed a warrant arrest of Daniel Lee Thoreson, a 38-year-old Duluth man with a felony, no bail, domestic assault warrant in the 800 block of E 9th Street, Duluth. Thoreson initially refused to comply with commands and started to barricade the residence after deputies confirmed he was inside. After an extended period of time, and multiple commands, Thoreson surrendered and was arrested on his outstanding warrant and was lodged at the St. Louis County Jail.
The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the US Marshals Service North Star Fugitive Task Force, the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force, and the Duluth Police Department.
