Motorcycle accident with injuries

On 4/22/2026 around 12:04 P.M., the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to a motorcycle accident near the 5700 Block of Lake Mine Road in White Township. The caller reported one occupant with a head injury. 

Deputies and additional resources responded to the scene where they located an injured 38-year-old man from Embarrass. The male was treated on scene by medical personnel and later airlifted to a hospital due to his injuries.

The male was traveling westbound when he hit loose gravel and lost control tipping the motorcycle onto the pavement. The male was not wearing a helmet and his identity is being withheld pending family notification. 

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the East Range Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Life Link, Aurora Fire Department, Hoyt Lakes Ambulance, and First Responders.
