On March 13th, 2026, at approximately 10:00 P.M., the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office was notified of lost campers needing assistance in the Voyagers National Park. The caller reported getting lost in the woods while attempting to locate their campsite.

Deputies and multiple assisting agencies responded to the 11500 of Ash River Trail in Unorganized Township 68R20 where the camper's vehicle was parked.
