Sawdust fire
On February 15, 2026 at approximately 5:26PM, the Orr fire department and other assisting units were dispatched to the report of a fire at the Voyageur Log Homes, manufacturing building located in Cusson which is about 4 miles north of Orr, MN
It was learned that a semi trailer, which was positioned to catch sawdust, produce during the manufacturing process was on fire.
Upon the arrival of fire department resources, the fire was quickly contained. Damage was limited to the trailer and sawdust exhaust ducting.
The case of the fire remains under investigation.
