New deputies and correctional officers sworn in; other new employees and recent promotions recognized

Nine new deputies and nine correctional officers have joined the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office. During a ceremonial pinning of badges held Wednesday at the Public Safety Building, Sheriff Gordon Ramsay welcomed the largest group of new deputies sworn in at one time to the department in 20 years. They include: Peter Christiansen, Jordan Porter, Austin Wick, Kyle Cotrell, Dylan Helman, Michael Nordean, Bradley Wick, Matthew Woitel, and Ethan Wolfe. The new deputies all joined the Sheriff's Office in 2025. Also sworn in was K-9 Ollie, who graduated from training in November and is certified in narcotics detection and various patrol functions.

New correctional officers sworn in include Vincent Fourie, Nolan Wenner, Bobbie Hendricks, Jaaron Kamp, Autumn Khalar, Wayne Landasy, Seth Noll, Simone Pruette and Justine Reroma.

New staff from other divisions of the Sheriff's Office also were recognized, including 911 Emergency Communications, Radio Maintenance, Court Security, and support staff. The office also recognized the promotions of Emily Warnygora, Assistant Administrator – Emergency Support Services; and Kayla Daugaard, Emergency Communications Center Supervisor.

The ceremony also was an opportunity to highlight deputies who've been promoted in the last year. These include: Kimberly Hanegmon, Deputy Sheriff – Lieutenant; Andrew Feiro, Deputy Sheriff – Sergeant; Zachary Peterson, Deputy Sheriff – Sergeant; Kyle Chiaverini, Deputy Sheriff – Investigator; and Sean Clark, Deputy Sheriff – Investigator.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for all law enforcement activity in the
unincorporated areas of St. Louis County, as well as several cities. Sheriff’s deputies operate out
