Structure Fire
On 12/13/2025 at approximately 2:23pm, area fire departments were dispatched to the address of 4539 Emerson Road for the report of a structure fire. Resident called 911 to report a fire in a garage which was first discovered shortly after starting a fire in a woodstove.
The garage was evacuated and medical was later requested precautionary for one person due to exposure to the smoke. The garage sustained heavy damage as a result of the fire.
Area fire departments from Gnesen, Rice Lake, and Fredenberg Townships assisted along with Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
