Delton Roy Misquadace Sentenced

Court File # 69HI-CR-24-241

On November 18, 2025, the Honorable Bhupesh Pattni sentenced Delton Roy Misquadace, 36, of Hibbing, to 280 months in prison, announced St. Louis County Attorney Kim Maki.  On August 8, 2025, a jury found Mr. Misquadace guilty of two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the First Degree, a count of Domestic Assault by Strangulation, and a count of Domestic Assault.

Mr. Misquadace was sentenced to 280 months for his conviction for Criminal Sexual Conduct in the First Degree and 28 months for his conviction for Domestic Assault by Strangulation.  The two sentences will be served concurrently.  Pursuant to law, no sentences were pronounced on the second count of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the First Degree and Domestic Assault.

“Although justice in this type of case is not only about punishment, the sentence handed down to Mr. Misquadace is a clear message that perpetrators of sexual assault and domestic violence will be held accountable,” said County Attorney Maki. “Sexual violence should never be ignored or minimized. We stand with survivors, and this sentence affirms the dignity, safety, and right of every person to live free of sexual violence.”

The St. Louis County Attorney’s Office thanks the Hibbing Police Department for their hard work and investigation of this matter.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant County Attorney Jeff Vlatkovich.
