1 in custody after vehicle pursuit in Mt. Iron
On November 14th, 2025 at approximately 2:12 P.M., St. Louis County Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance involving a female and juveniles. It was reported that the female was running after the juveniles and causing a disturbance.
Deputies arrived on scene to investigate that matter. While on scene with the individuals, the female got into her vehicle and left the scene. It was determined by Deputies on scene that an assault had occurred and the female was intoxicated.
Deputies searched the area and located the female driving in rural Mountain Iron. The female refused to stop her vehicle when Deputies activated their emergency lights. Deputies pursued the female for a short distance and initiated a successful PIT (pursuit intervention technique) maneuver which caused the vehicle to be disabled ending the pursuit. The female was arrested with out further incident. The identity of the female is being withheld pending formal charges.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Virginia Police Department and Minnesota State Patrol.
