Search warrant Hibbing
On October 29, 2025, at approximately 12:17PM, members of the Lake Superior Violent Offenders Task Force, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Hibbing Police Department, US Border Patrol, Drug Enforcement Administration, Internal Revenue Service, Enforcement Removal Operations and Homeland Security Investigations executed a narcotics search warrant in the 1800 block of 3rd Avenue East Hibbing. The search warrant was the result of an investigation conducted by members of LSVOTF.
In September 2025, an undercover investigator purchased cocaine from an individual who lived and worked at this location. This led to the search warrant being executed on October 29, 2025.
During the execution of the search warrant, an individual was arrested and lodged at the St. Louis County Jail in Hibbing. The individual was arrested for 3rd degree sale of cocaine and possession of a firearm by an ineligible person. The individual was also found in possession of several fake identification documents.
The Sheriff’s Office is aware that federal law enforcement took additional actions during this search warrant. The federal investigation is independent of this case; therefore we have nothing further to add.
