St. Louis County Public Works to present final design plans for County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 100 in Aurora
St. Louis County Public Works engineers have completed design work to reconstruct the County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 100 corridor in Aurora and will hold an open house to present final design plans to the public. The meeting will be Thursday, November 13, from 5-7 p.m. at the Aurora Community Center, 15 West 1st Avenue North.
The County has been working in partnership with the City of Aurora since early 2024 to conduct a corridor study of the L-shaped segment of CSAH 100, which is also known as 3rd Avenue North and Main Street, from approximately a quarter mile east of Highway 135 to Highway 110. The study included evaluating options for the intersection of Main Street and 3rd Avenue North in downtown Aurora.
The City of Aurora will also present its plans for city street improvements at this meeting. City streets include 1st Ave North, 2nd Ave. North, 3rd Street West and 4th Ave North. The CSAH 100 and city street improvements will be combined into a single cooperative project that will be led by St. Louis County.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026. Using funding from the State, the City of Aurora will be replacing utilities, while the County reconstructs the road. To learn more about the project, visit: https://slcmn.co/CSAH100.
