Garage fire Cherry Township
On September 17, 2025 at approximately 7:34 PM, first responders were dispatched to the report of a garage on fire in the 4000 block of River Road, located in Cherry Township.
The homeowners reported hearing two explosions and upon investigating observed smoke billowing from their garage which, was not attached to the residence.
There were no reported injuries and the garage sustained heavy smoke damage.
The incident remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshals Office and St. Louis County Sheriff Office.
