Railroad crossing work to temporarily close Highway 7 southwest of Eveleth

The CN Railroad will be completing work on a railroad crossing on Highway 7 near the city of Iron Junction, southwest of Eveleth beginning on Monday, September 15. Highway 7 will be closed to thru traffic for the duration of the week. The crossing is located between Old Mesabe Road and Ramshaw Road North.

 

Due to the location, the recommended detour unfortunately is a lengthy one, using Highway 101, U.S. Highway 53 and State Hwy 37.
