Single Vehicle Accident on Rice Lake Road

On September 3^rd, 2025, at approximately 6:50 PM the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Rice Lake Fire Department, and St. Louis County Rescue Squad responded to a single vehicle accident near the 4900 block of Rice Lake Road, Rice Lake, MN.

Witnesses stated that the vehicle was traveling northbound on Rice Lake Road when it crossed the centerline and left the roadway coming to a stop in the west ditch of Rice Lake Road.

The sole occupant and driver of the vehicle was transported by ambulance to be treated for injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The accident remains under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
