Fatal Residential House Fire Investigation
At approximately 9:20 PM last night Deputies with the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office along with fire personal from Cook, Orr, Kinney-Great Scott and Greenwood were dispatched to a residential house fire in Beatty Township. Upon arrival the house was fully engulfed. Through investigation two parties were located in the residence deceased. This incident is still under investigation and names are being withheld pending notification of family. The Sheriff's Office along with the State Fire Marshall's Office are still actively investigating.

One of the deceased parties in the house fire has been identified as:
Raeann Marie Pry, 69 of Cook, MN
The second deceased party has not yet been positively identified, and the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office is still working to make the positive identification which is the reason for the delay in this information being made public. The second party is believed to be:
Susan Patricia Hein, 60 of Cook, MN
The Sheriff's Office has not been able to locate any family members of Susan and is looking for assistance from the public. If you have any knowledge of next of kin for Susan, please reach out to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office in Virginia.
The State Fire Marshal's Office, St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Cook Fire Department responded to and investigated the fire. The cause and origin of the fire is undetermined at this time. There is no indication of any suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire or the deaths. The house is on the 2700 Block of Wakemup Village Rd in Beatty Township outside of Cook, MN.
