ATV Crash
On June 9th, 2025, at 1622 hours, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the Northern Pines Hospital, in Aurora, in regards to a reported ATV crash that had occurred East of Hoyt Lakes, on a local ATV trail. The driver of the ATV was brought to the hospital by private vehicle.
After talking with all the involved parties, it was determined that the driver had rolled his ATV while navigating a corner. The investigation of the crash determined that no criminal actions had contributed to the crash. The driver was wearing a helmet, at the time of the rollover, which helped to reduce injuries the driver had received.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office encourages ATV riders and passengers to wear helmets and other protective gear and to also ride with caution.
