Fire destroys former Elroy super club
On June 6, 2025 at approximately 4:37 hours, 911 received a call from a passerby who reported seeing flames coming through the roof of the former Elroy super club, located in the 7200 block of Britt Bypass which is approximately 10 miles north of Virginia.
The supper club had been renovated into a residence and was believed to be occupied.
It was reported that the reporting party honked their vehicle horn to wake the occupants. A male and female, occupying the structure where able to escape the fire without injury.
Several fire departments are still on scene working an active fire.
The incident is under investigation by the St Louis County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota State Fire Marshalls Office
