Highway 2 in Saginaw to temporarily close for railroad bridge repair

A segment of Highway 2 in Saginaw will close for up to three weeks as CN Railroad makes repairs to a railroad bridge. Highway 2 will be closed between Highways 33 and 194, beginning Monday, April 14, through Friday, May 2.

Signs will be posted directing general traffic to use Highway 33 and Saginaw Road as a detour.

Due to load restrictions on Saginaw Road, large trucks - those with five-ton or greater axle weight - will be directed to a separate detour using Highway 33, Industrial Road, Canosia Road and Highway 194. Additionally, trucks and combination vehicles over 10,000 pounds must enter the weigh station on Hwy 2.
